We at 4D pride ourselves on operating people-focused colocation data centres, providing an excellent level of support and service to our customers. While winning awards is not our main goal as a company, they are an appreciated recognition of our efforts, and a welcomed sign that we are delivering the high quality service we aim for.

Data Centre Operator of the year
From the Data Centre World Awards
Thanks to our excellent service record and supporting our customers throughout the pandemic, the Data Centre Awards in 2022 named us Data Centre Operator of the year. The judges were particularly impressed with our maintained SLAs while changing the way we worked during the pandemic to keep everyone safe, and our excellent customer survey results.
Best Energy Efficiency Project of the year
From the Data Centre Awards
Our adiabatic cooling towers at our Gatwick data centre use water evaporation to run an incredibly energy-efficient cooling system. 4D was awarded the 2019 Energy Efficient Project of the year prize alongside Aqua Cooling Group, our engineering consultant who helped us design and build the towers.
Project of the year
From the Electrical Review Awards
Another award for our adiabatic cooling towers, this time from the Electrical Review Awards. They praised 4D's Gatwick site for its energy-efficiency, and how the new cooling towers have reduced our energy use for cooling by up to 90% at certain times of the year.
We are proud of our multi-award winning cooling towers, as 4D is dedicated to operating energy-efficient and environmentally friendly data centres.

From the Cloud Hosting Magazine Awards
The Cloud Hosting Magazine Awards were established to showcase, recognise and reward the sector’s true pioneers in technology products and service offerings, as well as customer service and marketing expertise and we were up against some stiff competition.

Video Content Award
From From the Hip's Business Video Awards 2019
4D are proud to help the community around us by producing informative and insightful video content.
Dan Neatherway, founder of From the Hip, said: “4D were recognised for their sophisticated tech-talk, broken down into easy-to-understand videos. Each of their videos are roughly 1-3 minutes long and use visual throughout for a better understanding. Angle changes and background music keep the viewer entertained.”
Customers are at the heart of what we do
We are always very proud to have our efforts recognised, and receiving awards ranging from cloud, to energy-efficiency, to corporate social responsibility shows how 4D is supporting our customers and community in everything we do.
