Why colocation?
Robert Culyer says “You can’t run a mission critical IT infrastructure like Trinity Mobile’s in normal office space. That’s why we are in a secure colocation facility.” Trinity Mobile moved to 4D from another colocation provider because the provider had become increasingly expensive and Trinity Mobile was "paying for services it never used”.
The 4D Data Centres experience
Robert Culyer said that he chose 4D for a variety of reasons. First impressions were important, down to the helpfulness of our security guard and this is part of the ethos of the staff throughout the operation. Robert liked the layout of the data floor and the availability of free WiFi enabled on the spot testing of external communications. The pricing was competitive and when asked questions about the way the data centre was put together, the responses showed an in-depth understanding of what was on the Powerpoint slides in our presentation.
Robert says he would recommend 4D’s Surrey data centre to others because it offers good value for money and it’s a nice facility with easy access. “4D is a Ronseal proposition: it does what it says on the tin”.
