Brookland Computer Services is a specialist outsourcing management and hosting company for the IFA sector.
Why colocation?
Brookland has its own in-house data centre and as it neared full capacity, Brookland looked for a second data centre in the South West London area to become its colocation partner. In addition to 4D, it considered a smaller data centre to ours and a much larger, new-build data centre. We were selected because our data centre was big enough for Brookland’s purposes, with, according to Eamonn Fogarty, Brookland’s MD, a robust infrastructure and a professional approach to colocation. Eamonn also said we provided a personal level of service coupled with flexibility to adapt to Brookland’s requirements if and when they changed.
The 4D Data Centres experience
Installing equipment at 4D and getting it operational was a smooth and trouble free process. Eamonn says that we have met his high expectations, in short, “a lot of service for a reasonable price, which I would be happy to recommend to others”. Brookland has been providing what is now known as cloud solutions from its own data centre for ten years and recognises that it has an effective colocation partner in 4D, providing the right practical balance of cost and service.
