By using our dedicated fibre network you can connect your equipment in our Surrey data centre, Sirius 2, to a number of UK data centres. This gives you access to an almost limitless number of carriers or the ability to connect with your existing networks in other facilities at speeds from 10Mbps to 10Gbps+. With sub-1ms connectivity to the Docklands, 4D is the ideal choice for Disaster Recovery (DR) and real time replication requirements.
What’s more, with our partner networks and data centre interconnect services you can extend this to over 200 PoPs worldwide.
Not in a 4D data centre? Don’t worry. You don’t have to be in our data centre to benefit from our high-speed network, in fact you can be in any of our connected data centres and still have a reliable, Ethernet-based connection to another facility over the 4D network. The connections will pass all Layer 2 protocols such as CDP and spanning tree as well as your vLAN tags (including your own Q-in-Q or double tagged frames).
