Training and Development
Taking good care of our staff is one of our top priorities.

All our staff, at every stage of their career with 4D, are actively encouraged to do further training. It’s not just about keeping skills up-to-date but about maintaining an interest in our industry and keeping the enthusiasm levels high. Technology trends change fast and we need to be at the cutting edge all the time.
All new first-line technical support staff are given an 8 to 12-week internal induction program to make sure they have experience of all the different platforms they will come across in the data centre as well as having the opportunity to shadow more experienced members of staff.
Everyone is regularly reviewed and mentored by line managers and directors using a professional appraisal system that is geared towards helping you build on your talents and improve on any areas that need development.
We hold frequent team outings to reward everyone’s hard work and celebrate our achievements. Recent trips have included go-karting at Sandown Park and a night out at the Battersea Comedy Store, which was a laugh, especially when the compere picked on our Ops Director.
